I love a beautiful portrait. I also don’t think we need to suck every ounce of fun out of a moment trying to make it perfect.

Whether it’s your wedding day or Tuesday evening with your family, I want you to actually enjoy the people you’re here with.

I’ll give you direction when you need it. I’ll make sure we get the photos Grandma wants framed. And then I’ll get out of the way when something better starts happening.

MEET

Morgan

Photographer. Dog person. Chronic over-planner. Professional third wheel.

I grew up on a cattle ranch in Southern Alberta, so wind doesn’t scare me, dirt doesn’t bother me and I’ll probably get way too excited if there are horses involved.

When I’m not photographing weddings, you’ll usually find me at home on the ranch with Wacey and Ruger, drinking coffee, buying another plant I don’t need or reading something involving dragons.

I’ve photographed a LOT of weddings at this point. And somehow I still get excited every single time.

Before you hire me, a few things you should probably know…

If there’s a dog, I’m going to say hi.

Your dog is absolutely welcome at your session. Honestly, encouraged.

I love a good timeline.

Not because I want your wedding to run like a military operation — because I want you to have time to actually enjoy it.

Feelings win.

If we’re taking portraits and something important starts happening, we’re stopping. The portrait can wait.

Southern Alberta weather doesn’t scare me.

Wind, rain, snow, sun… potentially all four within twenty minutes.

You won’t have to figure out what to do.

When you need direction, I’ll give it. When you don’t, I’ll get out of the way.

There is probably coffee nearby.

Fill out the contact form on my website, and I'll get back to you within 72 hours. I'll take the time to talk to you about your shoot, so I can fully understand what you're looking for. We'll work together to find a date and time that suits you. Once everything is decided, I'll provide you with a contract, a questionnaire, and an invoice. Once you've completed these steps, you're officially booked, and we can get excited to start documenting your precious memories.

THE PROCESS

PLANNING

Once booked clients receive exceptional service and support. I assist with location scouting, outfit planning, and provide expert advice. Open communication is encouraged through my personal contact information. My goal is to make clients feel confident and excited about their photo shoot.

Execution

You don’t need to know how to pose or what to do with your hands — that’s my job! I’ll guide you through the beautiful portraits your mom is going to frame, but I’m not here to pose every second of your life. I want the real moments, the laughs, the little in-between things that make your photos feel like you. And I’m not just hiding behind my camera either. I’ll be fixing dresses, wrangling people, keeping us on track and occasionally reminding everyone that we’re losing daylight. I know when to step in, when to give direction, and when to shut up and let the moment happen.

DELIVERY

I am committed to providing a sneak peek of your images within 72 hours of the shoot.
For my lifestyle and business branding shoots, you can expect to receive your final edited images within 30 days. I believe in taking the necessary time to carefully enhance each image, guaranteeing that they meet your expectations. Due to the extensive nature of wedding photography, the delivery timeline for your final edited images extends to 90 days.
