I’m Morgan, the photographer behind Wild M Photos, based in Southern Alberta. I specialize in wedding, branding, and lifestyle photography, capturing moments in a way that feels natural, timeless, and true to you.
A Little About Me
I grew up just outside Pincher Creek, Alberta, where photography became more than a hobby — it became a way of life. From a young age, I was always asking for “a new camera,” drawn to capturing the wide-open landscapes and the cowboy way of life that shaped who I am today.
Over the years, that passion grew into a career. I spent countless hours learning my craft — studying camera settings, refining my editing style, and investing in workshops and retreats to grow as an artist. In 2025, I took the leap and became a full-time photographer, turning a lifelong passion into my profession.
Travel has also played a huge role in my creative journey. Time spent in Thailand, Germany, and Arizona has deeply influenced how I see light, connection, and storytelling — inspiring me to document moments in a way that feels honest, timeless, and full of heart.
Along the way, I was honoured to be named Pincher Creek’s 2023 Home Business of the Year, but what matters most to me is the trust my clients place in me. With every session, I continue to grow, push myself creatively, and preserve memories that will be held close for a lifetime.
FUN FACTS ABOUT ME!
Fact #1: I grew up on a cattle ranch in Southern Alberta.
I grew up around cows, horses, and ranch life, so the western lifestyle has pretty much always been part of who I am. I still love being outside, checking cows on horseback, and getting to call Southern Alberta home.
Fact #2: My dog, Ruger, is basically my best friend.
I’ve had Ruger since 2016, and he’s been through a whole lot of life with me. He’s my little shadow, adventure buddy, and quite honestly gets treated more like a child than a dog at this point.
Fact #3: I’m a HUGE reader.
Give me dragons, fae, magic, romance and a book I can completely disappear into. Reading is one of my favourite ways to shut my brain off after a busy day — and there’s a very good chance I’m staying up way too late because I said “one more chapter.”
Fact #4: If I’m not photographing a wedding in the summer, I’m probably at a rodeo.
My boyfriend, Wacey, is a pickup man, so a lot of our summers are spent hauling horses and heading to rodeos. It’s busy, a little chaotic, and involves a lot of time on the road, but I wouldn’t trade it.
Fact #5: I’m equally obsessed with coffee, plants and all things pink.
My personality might say cattle ranch and rodeos, but my heart also says pink, way too many plants, cute coffee shops and another iced coffee I definitely didn’t need. I like to think there’s room for both.
