ABOUT
I’m Morgan, the photographer behind Wild M Photos, based in Southern Alberta. I specialize in wedding, branding, and lifestyle photography, capturing moments in a way that feels natural, timeless, and true to you.
A Little About Me
I grew up just outside Pincher Creek, Alberta, where photography became more than a hobby — it became a way of life. From a young age, I was always asking for “a new camera,” drawn to capturing the wide-open landscapes and the cowboy way of life that shaped who I am today.
Over the years, that passion grew into a career. I spent countless hours learning my craft — studying camera settings, refining my editing style, and investing in workshops and retreats to grow as an artist. In 2025, I took the leap and became a full-time photographer, turning a lifelong passion into my profession.
Travel has also played a huge role in my creative journey. Time spent in Thailand, Germany, and Arizona has deeply influenced how I see light, connection, and storytelling — inspiring me to document moments in a way that feels honest, timeless, and full of heart.
Along the way, I was honoured to be named Pincher Creek’s 2023 Home Business of the Year, but what matters most to me is the trust my clients place in me. With every session, I continue to grow, push myself creatively, and preserve memories that will be held close for a lifetime.
Fact #1: I grew up on a cattle ranch in Southern Alberta.
The rugged landscapes of home shaped my love for nature, and watching my family work tirelessly to preserve the western way of life taught me the value of hard work. Southern Alberta isn’t just where I’m from—it’s a piece of my heart that will always ground me.
Fact #2: My dog, Ruger, is my best friend.
Ruger is so much more than a pet—he’s my adventure buddy, my loyal shadow, and the one who always makes me smile. Life feels a little fuller with him by my side.
Fact #3: I’m a big book lover.
Reading is my favorite form of self-care. I love getting swept away into worlds filled with dragons, fae, and magical adventures. There’s nothing better than curling up with a good book at the end of the day.
Fact #4: My summers are for rodeos (when not at a wedding).
One of my favorite things is cheering on my boyfriend, Wacey, as he pick-ups at rodeos. Helping with his horses and being part of those moments on the road together has given me memories I’ll treasure forever.
Fact #5: I’m proud to be part of the Pincher Creek Ranch Rodeo Committee.
As the Media & Communications Coordinator, I get to combine my love for rodeo with giving back to the community I care so deeply about. It’s such a joy to help organize events that celebrate western heritage and bring people together.
